Sorry to say, one of the worst improvisations I have done. Still, I felt obliged to post it:

Improvisation in A Dorian. My first try at a jazz backing track. I'm dissapointed I wasn't able to accomplish this Improvisation better...might do a retake.

ST Improv. Challenge #10. This was a hard track to keep together for 4+ minutes, but I think I did okay. Enjoy!

This was a first take improvisation, done in the key of E, Phrygian scale. I tried my best to play around the scale, as much as possible, while staying in my comfort zone. I did experiment a little though, which I hope you'll be able to hear. Enjoy!

This was done basically first take. The track is rather repetitive, so as I think you can tell, I did some experimenting--out of my normal box kinda stuff. Although it all is okay, if you have a short attention span, I recommend listening to the last 2 minutes or so...seems I pulled it together a lot smoother during that time.
Enjoy!

ST Improvisation Challenge #7. Once again, I caught a cold, so not my best.
Not the whole track, as I was getting worn out by the organ solo. A hard track to improvise to, atleast for me.

This was done just for fun, recorded with my looper. Although I've improvised to this track previously, that was weeks ago, and just once again discovered it. I recorded this on my first take, today. Improvisation is in B minor.

Challenge #6, recorded on my new looper. I rushed to record this so its not my best, at all.

This is my most recent improvisation. Still handicapped by my injury, but I think I managed okay! The overdrived bits were done with a Tube Driver pedal. Backing track is in "A Minor":

This was another challenge, a first record take. I played through it once, then turned on the recorder and did it. I regret to say there are quite a few flubs-I injured my fretting finger with a knife, playing with a bandage-and I had to modify what I actually wanted to play to compensate for the finger, but oh well, its all for fun. Backing track is "Funk, in G Major":

This is actually the same backing track as "Improvisation in B Minor" but a more recent take. Done as a challenge, it was a first take on an old track. Wasn't the happiest with it, but oh well. Backing track is "Slow Blues, in B Minor":

This was also recorded previously, although only about 3 months ago. I have never heard the song "Empty Room" merely just stumbled across the backing track, so don't expect it to sound similar. There is a good amount of mistakes in this first-take. Backing track is "Empty Room, Gary Moore in A Minor":

This was recorded about 6 months ago, and I'm happy to say I've improved a lot in my playing since then. This was also recorded with a different guitar than I have now. Backing Track is "Slow Blues in B Minor":
